ABOUT

The aim of the I. International Conference on Modern Trends on Digital Economy is to discuss recent contributions to the understanding of the digital economy and its consequences for modern societies. The conference will feature contributions in economics, theoretical investigations of the topics, econometrics, experimental, business and governmental policy oriented towards the digital economy, as well as contributions from other social sciences and computer and data science.

The conference is organized by the Azerbaijan State University of Economics and One Belt One Road Alliance for Science and Technology will be held in 13-14, February, 2020 in Baku, Azerbaijan and is planning to be a series of conferences devoted to the various aspects of Digital Economy. The first event of this series will focus on Modern Challenges and Real Opportunities.

The Conference plans to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars and also specialists from business and government to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Digital Economy. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Digital Economy.

Creation of the Azerbaijan Digital Hub, Transcaspian Digital Silkroad and Digital Trade Network in Azerbaijan can be also under the focus of the conference. The conference will focus also on the transformation of Azerbaijan's Digital Commerce Line into a digital space on the Great Silk Road, as well as a single electronic space in the European geography.

The conference is organized with the partnership of University of Istanbul, Belarus State University of Economics, St. Petersburg State University of Economics, and London School of Economics and kindly supported by Bakcell.
